
Changes coming up for the Spanish Arch
In accordance with of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 (as amended), Part XI and the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended) Part 8, Article 81, notice is hereby given by Galway City Council of proposed alterations to the existing Galway City Museum at Spanish Parade, Galway City.
The development will consist of:
(a) Remodelling of the N/E façade to include a new exit door, new access steps and Part M lift, remodelled service access doors and new display window wrapping around the corner onto the N/W façade to Spanish Parade.
b) Construction of a new ESB substation and switch room to the N/W façade on Spanish Parade.
c) New bin enclosure.
d) Relocation of Existing Gas Meter
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy for a period of 4 weeks from Thursday, 15th October 2020 up to and including Thursday, 12th November 2020 during public hours at the Planning Office, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY from 9:00am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
