Mayo County Council Civic Amenity Centres Remain Open As An Essential Service Throughout Level 5 Restrictions

Management of household waste is an essential service and Mayo County Council encourages householders who are not availing of a Kerb-side waste collection to continue to use the Civic Amenity Centres at Derrinumera and Rathroeen over the coming weeks. Waste disposal and recycling services remain open.

Customers are encouraged to segregate recyclable waste in advance so they can limit the time spent on-site, and to maintain social distancing from other customers and staff.  Face masks must be worn, and customers are asked to use hand sanitiser and pay by card if possible.
